Églomisé, the centuries-old craft of gilding and reverse-painting behind glass, has always been about transforming a sheet of glass into something luminous, reflective, and quietly theatrical. Mirror 1K carries that lineage into the modern studio. A hand-spray applied, industrial-grade reflective coating, it pairs the soul of antique mercury glass with the precision of contemporary chemistry: warranted for interior or exterior, wet or dry environments, and engineered to perform on architectural-scale panels.

Mirror 1K / The Opportunity

Mirror has never had this much to say.

For as long as decorative mirror has existed in architecture and interiors, it has meant one thing: antique. The smoky, distressed, hand-patinated surface that defines a period room, a boutique hotel bar, a classic powder room. It is beautiful. It is also the only option anyone has ever been able to offer. Mirror 1K ends that limitation, not by replacing antique mirror (the library above proves that ADG does antique mirror as well as anyone) but opens access to every other technology beside it. Custom color-matched mirror. Digitally printed mirror. Wet-area certified mirror for shower walls and spa surfaces. Mirror combined with Creative Resins special effects that shift color with the light, hold metallic depth, or carry a ceramic frit print through the reflective plane. 95–98% reflectivity on fully tempered safety glass, indistinguishable from conventional silvering. The combinations are unlimited. Where antique mirror ends and a new era for Verre Églomisé begins.

Mirror 1K accepts Creative Resins transparent pigment color matching across 15,000 formulas, Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, Pantone, RAL, or fully custom. A rose-gold mirror. A smoky navy mirror. A mirror the exact tone of the client's stone selection. Color-matched mirror has never existed as a specifiable architectural product. It does now.

Digital printing and Mirror 1K reflective surface are truly a match made in Heaven. They combine into a single panel where the art background is enhanced by reflection. A custom botanical. A client's own drawing. A pattern developed with ADG Studio. The printed mirror wall. Modern day églomisé at architectural scale.

Mirror 1K is applied to fully tempered safety glass and wet-area certified. Every Mirror 1K combination, color-matched, printed, special effect can go inside a shower enclosure in full compliance with building codes. Your clients have asked for this. The answer used to be a compromise. Now it is not.

Special effects on a reflective base.

The full Creative Resins special effects system, iridescent pigments that shift color with the viewing angle, metallics that add warmth and depth, pearlescent coats that catch light differently at every hour, applied over or layered with Mirror 1K. The PBR library when done will show what these finishes look like. Now a mirror has more to do than simply reflect.

Specify the combination. ADG Studio develops the art files, matches the color, coordinates the ceramic frit print, and delivers production-ready documentation. The ADG Visualizer lets you upload your project space and render any Mirror 1K combination into it before a single panel is cut. Process

How ADG makes it happen

ADG Studio develops the art files, matches the color, coordinates the digital print, and delivers production-ready documentation. The ADG Visualizer lets you upload your project space and render any Mirror 1K combination into it before a single panel is cut. Order a physical sample of any variant from the library above. The PBR swatches for every combination are in development and at some point will be available for download directly from the libraries. They do currently carry a price PSF and can be used to generate a quote and do project estimating. All can be ordered as physical samples.
