Ceramic frit glass printed Metallic sample
Model No. 0015
Ceramic Frit Printed Metallic Sample Request. Please use Sample Order form to provide specifications for your sample.
Model 0015 is for applications that require full opacity so that you cannot see through the print. The decorative pattern is printed on Surface 1 and the mirror finish is applied after printing on Surface 2. This creates a lot of depth as the pattern is reflected in the mirror background. The printed pattern is at 100% opacity and the pattern background was printed at 20% opacity which mutes the mirror finish and creates more of a metallic look. The final finish is with a black back painted layer making it very dense so no light comes through. Works great for wall covering, accent panels, back splashes and even decorative Spandrel applications.
In the Order Specification form you will have the opportunity to upload your pattern, image, or design. If you haven’t decided yet, please spend some time visiting our pattern library shared below or provide some direction as to your desired aesthetic in the text area of the form and we’ll curate some choices for your consideration. 9
Frequent Questions & Info
What is Ceramic Frit Ink?
Ceramic Frit Inks are developed using inorganic pigmented inks for digital printing on glass using inkjet printers with drop-on-demand technology. The inks comprise glass frits and pigments in a solvent-based formulation. Under strict quality control, the frit and pigments are ground into sub-microns for uniform dispersion. During the tempering process, the inks fuse with the glass to create durable properties that endure the life of the glass. The end use product has aesthetic appeal and functional values such as energy efficiency, solar control, light diffusion and light transmission.
What are the main Properties of Ceramic Frit Printing?
